Hey Mark, does your agency have an ALPR policy in place? I just searched for it and all I found
was where your agency links to NCRIC here, but I’m pretty sure that’s actually an old version:

I’d imagine that Benicia is going to come up against similar resistance as Vallejo, so I think it
might be a good idea to take this as an opportunity to establish your own policy (disclaimer: I’m
not a legal expert, I just work with a lot of agencies and in my experience, I think this is an
important step).
Vallejo’s turned out great so I’ve attached it along with a couple of others that I like (I plan on
going through each of these and highlighting the aspects that I like, but I haven’t gotten around
to it…ALPR policies is coming up more and more frequently so I may make this a priority).
