City has to actually file the CEQA Exemption with the California Clearinghouse. EBI has completed the CEQA Notice of Exemption (NOE). Please sign or have PublicWorks sign it and send us a copy. There is a date highlighted in yellow that needs to be updated when it is submitted.Let usknow the date in which they submit to the clearinghouse.Thenwe can resubmit to CalTrans with the signed NOE. For the resubmittal, our permitting team is working on the Policy Exception Letter, CEQA exemption, and revised site plans. We have submitted the request to EBl (environmental consultant) to prepare and submit the CEQA exemption onBenicia’sbehalf.EBlsaid it would take about 2 - 3 weeks to prepare the exemption application. Once it is prepared, they then have topost the CEQA exemption application to the CaliforniaState Clearinghouse for 30 days to allow other agencies to review and comment if they have any concerns. Once the 30 days is up, EBl will produce a CEQA exemption document that we will then resubmit toCalTrans along with the policy exception letter and the revised site plans. CalTrans will then review.
