CalTrans has notified us that the local agency in this case the City has to actually file the CEQA Exemption with the California Clearinghouse. EBI has completed the CEQA Notice of Exemption (NOE). I hope you are having a great Thursday! I wanted to provide you with an update regarding camera CalTrans. Flock permitting is working to address the comments received from CalTrans D4. For the resubmittal, our permitting team is working on the Policy Exception Letter, CEQA exemption, and revised site plans. We have submitted the request to EBl (environmental consultant) EBl said it would take about 2 - 3 weeks to prepare the exemption application. Once it is prepared, they then have to post the CEQA exemption application to the California State Clearinghouse for 30 days to allow other agencies to review and comment if they have any concerns. Once the 30 days is up, EBl will produce a CEQA exemption document that we will then resubmit to CalTrans along with the policy exception letter and the revised site plans. CalTrans will then review.
